The 0331 Pulsar OTF, the most popular of our 0331 line, has a chassis milled from 6061-T6 Aluminum featuring 3D milling along the front and back faces to give a nice textured surface. This build features a single edge tanto style blade made from Magnacut, stainless hardware and a stainless pocket clip.

A SICK OTF! I am pleasantly surprised by Core Edge. The build quality is top notch and the ergonomics are among the best I’ve felt for an OTF… if not THE best. I love the centered blade deployment. It adds a nice touch of refinement, rarely seen in production OTFs. The action is fast, solid, reliable, and very satisfying. Nice acoustics too! The tanto blade shape – with its abrupt angle – is unique enough to stand out, and still performs quite well. Factory edge was very good. One area for improvement might be the button texture. It could use a little more grip, for me personally. Otherwise, the size and shape of the button are perfect. One thing that puzzles me about this knife: no visible screws! My assumption is the faux-glassbreaker at the butt end unscrews to allow removal of the pocket clip and further disassembly. But again, this design feature adds a really nice touch of refinement. Well done, indeed! Overall, this is the type of piece that makes you wonder why it’s not more popular among the OTF crowd. It checks all the right boxes – including price (considering the competition in this category). If you’re looking to add a classy but still solidly built piece to your OTF collection, I’d recommend you seriously consider Core Edge. They’ve done an awesome job with the 0331, and I’m pumped to see what else they make!
